As part of her visit to New Delhi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal, Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba.
During their discussion on bilateral cooperation, the ministers noted that this was the first-ever meeting between the foreign ministers of Georgia and Nepal. They expressed hope that this dialogue will contribute to further strengthening relations between the two countries. In this context, both sides emphasized the importance of holding regular political consultations between their respective foreign ministries.
The ministers also highlighted key priority areas for collaboration, focusing on the significant potential for cooperation in tourism, education, and environmental protection.
Additionally, Minister Botchorishvili provided an overview of Georgia’s economic policies and investment potential, underlining opportunities for sharing Georgia’s experience in implementing successful reforms across various sectors.
Both sides welcomed the positive agenda of cooperation within international platforms, reaffirming their commitment to enhancing diplomatic engagement.
