Maka Botchorishvili has met with Ghana’s Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of the Republic of Ghana, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, on the sidelines of the Raisina Dialogue, an international forum taking place in India.


During the meeting, the parties reviewed the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Ghana, expressing their readiness to expand relations and explore new areas of collaboration.


Minister Botchorishvili underscored the importance of strengthening ties with African nations, while both parties positively assessed the existing cooperation within international organizations. She also provided an overview of the regional situation, security challenges, and Georgia’s peace policy, expressing gratitude to her Ghanaian counterpart for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
