Lasha Darsalia Meets with the Ambassador-designate of the Swiss Confederation

On 10 September, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Lasha Darsalia held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia, Fabienne Wassermann.

The Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the Swiss side for its steadfast support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its significant contribution to the process of peaceful conflict resolution.

The discussions focused on cooperation within international organizations. Particular attention was paid to Switzerland’s Chairpersonship of the OSCE, as well as to the Organization’s role in the Geneva International Discussions.

The sides also reviewed projects implemented and planned by Switzerland to promote confidence-building and support the population affected by the Russia-Georgia conflict, as well as prospects for further cooperation.
