At the Invitation of the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, Maka Botchorishvili Participates in the Ministerial in Washington, D.C.

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, is participating in the Ministerial on the Resurgence of Political Terrorism, at the invitation of the United States Secretary of State, Marco Rubio.

The event is being held in Washington, D.C., and brings together representatives from approximately 60 countries.

Held as part of the United States’ new strategic framework for countering terrorism, the Ministerial aims to address ways to combat the new wave of political violence and the activities of extremist groups. Particular attention is being paid to strengthening effective international cooperation and further enhancing joint efforts in this area.
