The Ambassador-designate of Lithuania to Georgia has presented copies of his credentials to Teimuraz Janjalia

On 14 August 2024, the Ambassador-designate of Lithuania to Georgia, Darius Vitkauskas, presented copies of his credentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Teimuraz Janjalia.

Teimuraz Janjalia congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his new role.
During the meeting, the traditionally friendly and partnership-based relations between the two countries were highlighted. The discussion also covered the current agenda of Georgia-Lithuania relations.

The importance of maintaining regular political dialogue and exploring opportunities for deeper cooperation between the two nations was emphasized.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening the ties between Georgia and Lithuania.
