On 26 July, within the framework of his working visit to the Republic of Bulgaria, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Teimuraz Janjalia met with Dragomir Zakov, Foreign and Security Policy Advisor to the Prime Minister of Bulgaria.
Discussions focused on a wide range of relations between the two countries, including issues of security, connectivity, deepening of sectoral cooperation and Bulgaria's support for the European and Euro-Atlantic integration process. The sides emphasized the importance of fully exploiting the Black Sea potential and the necessity of exchanging high-level visits.
Within the framework of the visit, the Deputy Minister also held a meeting with the Deputy Chairmen of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Bulgarian National Assembly, Daniel Lorer and Ekaterina Zakharieva. The sides talked about strengthening inter-parliamentary relations, as well as mobilizing support for Georgia's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.
