The Georgian Foreign Minister Meets with her Bulgarian counterpart

On the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili met with Velislava Petrova-Chamova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The sides discussed current issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to further strengthening cooperation between Georgia and Bulgaria, as Black Sea countries, not only in the area of security, but also in the fields of trade and economy, transport, connectivity and energy.

The sides also discussed relations with the European Union and the importance of support in this process.
