Maka Bochorishvili has met with the Ambassador of Bulgaria

On 21 February 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to Georgia, Vesselin Valkanov.

The meeting focused on the traditionally friendly relations between Georgia and Bulgaria, with particular emphasis on the positive dynamics of economic cooperation between the two countries. Discussions highlighted the importance of political dialogue and collaboration in priority areas. Further, the parties addressed the significance of bilateral cooperation in the regional context and the further development of the Black Sea region's potential.

The meeting also covered ongoing regional developments and Georgia’s relations with the European Union. The importance of Bulgaria’s support for Georgia on its path to European integration was underscored. Both sides expressed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
