On 19 September, Ilia Darchiashvili held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration of Ghana, Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey
At the meeting, the ministers reviewed the existing cooperation in international formats and noted the great potential of cooperation in bilateral relations. After the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and Ghana. According to the ministers, the signing of the memorandum is an important step in the relations between the two countries, which will bring the two countries closer to each other.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs also met with his Seychellois counterpart, Sylvestre Radegonde. The sides reviewed the agenda of cooperation between the two countries in bilateral and multilateral formats and expressed the readiness to further deepen relations.
With the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palau, Gustav N. Aitaro, discussions focused on the current issues of bilateral relations. The sides expressed their desire to further deepen the cooperation. The importance of exchanging high-level visits was emphasized. Ilia Darchiashvili thanked his colleague for his firm support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
