The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, held his first meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, within the framework of the Davos World Economic Forum.
The sides highlighted the good neighbourly relations between Georgia and Iran established over the years.
The ministers exchanged views on the issues related to bilateral relations, including the trade and economic ties between the countries, the potential of intensifying people-to-people contacts and culture, education and tourism cooperation.
