The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia announces the launch of the 2025 grant competition “Support for Georgian Dance and Song Ensembles Abroad.”
Objectives of the grant program:
➡️ To promote the strengthening of ties between the Georgian diaspora and their homeland, and to support the preservation of cultural identity;
➡️ To foster the dissemination and promotion of Georgia and Georgian culture abroad.
Within the framework of the program, funding will be allocated to projects submitted for the purpose of supporting the operation and development of Georgian ensembles functioning abroad.
📍 Notably, this year the program introduces a new component: Georgians residing abroad will have the unique opportunity to organize cultural events, professional masterclasses, and training sessions aimed at preserving national identity and fostering the development of contemporary Georgian art.
🏆 Winners will be selected through a competitive process by a commission composed of representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Administration of the President of Georgia, the Parliament’s Committee on Diaspora and Caucasus Issues, the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and the Ministry of Culture of Georgia.
