The Georgian Foreign Minister has met with her Slovak Counterpart Juraj Blanár

Within the framework of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic, Juraj Blanár.

The ministers discussed issues of cooperation between the two countries in both bilateral and multilateral formats. Particular attention was devoted to the importance of friendly ties and political dialogue, as well as to the prospects for cooperation in the fields of trade and the economy.

The parties also reviewed the regional security environment and the challenges it entails, with a focus on the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories.

The conversation further addressed Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Minister Botchorishvili outlined Georgia’s foreign policy priorities and expressed gratitude to her Slovak counterpart for Slovakia’s support.
