Maka Botchorishvili Meets with Commissioner of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of China, Qin Yizhi

On 16 June 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with Qin Yizhi, Commissioner of the National Ethnic Affairs Commission (NEAC) of the People’s Republic of China, who is visiting Georgia.

The discussion focused on the dynamics of bilateral relations between Georgia and China, as well as the potential for deepening cooperation in various fields within the framework of their comprehensive strategic partnership.

Attention was focused on the importance of cooperation between the Office of the State Minister of Georgia for Reconciliation and Civic Equality and the National Ethnic Affairs Commission of the People’s Republic of China.

Within the framework of the meeting, special emphasis was placed on maintaining political dialogue at a high level, as well as on China's support for Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty, and Georgia’s adherence to the One China policy.
