Maka Botchorishvili Meets with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mukhtar Tleuberdi, on the margins of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues related to strengthening the strategic partnership between Georgia and Kazakhstan, as well as bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The discussion also focused on further deepening relations between the two countries and the importance of the exchanges of high-level visits.

Particular attention was paid to cooperation between Georgia and Kazakhstan in the development of the Middle Corridor, as well as to strengthening trade and economic ties between the two countries.

Maka Botchorishvili expressed her condolences to her counterpart over the death of Kazakh servicemen in the Caspian Sea training incident.
