Maka Botchorishvili Holds Introductory Meeting with Ambassador-designate of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia Fabienne Wassermann

On 14 September 2026, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador-designate of the Swiss Confederation to Georgia, Fabienne Wassermann.

The sides discussed issues of cooperation between Georgia and Switzerland, both bilaterally and in multilateral formats. In this context, particular attention was paid to Switzerland’s Chairpersonship of the OSCE and the Organization’s role in the Geneva International Discussions.

The Minister thanked the Swiss side for its support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for its significant contribution to the peaceful resolution of the conflict.

Maka Botchorishvili wished the Ambassador success in her future endeavours.
