It was noted that the Holy See has historically played a significant role in promoting European values and knowledge in Georgia.

Minister Botchorishvili expressed her deep gratitude to the Holy See for its unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Minister also provided an overview of the situation in Georgia’s occupied regions and underlined the importance of the Geneva International Discussions.

The conversation further covered ongoing developments in Georgia, the regional security environment, and Georgia’s European Union integration process.

Minister Botchorishvili inquired about the health of Pope Francis, acknowledging his invaluable contribution to global peace and extending her best wishes for his recovery.
