The discussion focused on key aspects of the relations between Georgia and the Holy See, emphasizing the dynamic nature of high-level bilateral visits.

It was noted that the Holy See has historically played a significant role in promoting European values and knowledge in Georgia.

Minister Botchorishvili expressed her deep gratitude to the Holy See for its unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The Minister also provided an overview of the situation in Georgia’s occupied regions and underlined the importance of the Geneva International Discussions.
