Ilia Darchiashvili has met with his Estonian counterpart, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna

On the sidelines of the ongoing NATO summit in Vilnius, the Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Estonian counterpart, Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna.

The foreign ministers talked about the issues on the bilateral agenda. It was noted that Georgia and Estonia are traditionally connected through friendly relations.

The sides put an accent on the process of Georgia's integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic structures. Ilia Darchishvili informed his colleague about the efforts and progress made by Georgia on this road. He drew special attention to the importance of Estonia's firm support to Georgia, especially in light of the big geopolitical challenges.

Discussions also focused on the political dialogue and the exchange of high-level visits.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia once again confirmed his strong support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as for the country's European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

Ilia Darchiashvili invited his colleague to visit Georgia.
