Ilia Darchiashvili meets with Jill Hruby

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili met with the U.S. Department of Energy Under Secretary for Nuclear Security, Jill Hruby, on 23 June 2023.

The sides reviewed the long-standing successful cooperation between Georgia and the U.S. in the field of nuclear security and non-proliferation.

Discussions also focused on a wide range of issues on the agenda of strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States.

Talking points also included Georgia’s steps towards Euro-Atlantic and European integration and the progress achieved in this regard. The U.S. side confirmed its unwavering support for Georgia's sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, as well as for the country’s  European and Euro-Atlantic integration path.
