​An online meeting has been held with representatives of the Georgian diaspora in the Republic of Turkey

A meeting with representatives of the Georgian diaspora living in the Republic of Turkey was held in an online format at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia. The purpose of the meeting was to get acquainted with the situation in the aftermath of the powerful earthquake hitting  Turkiye on 6 February and to identify the needs of Georgian citizens in Turkiye.

Georgian diaspora representatives thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of Georgia in Turkey for their assistance and noted that the Ministry and the Embassy are doing their utmost to help the citizens of Georgia.

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Vladimer Konstantinidi, Ambassador of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey Giorgi Janjgava and Georgian citizens  living in Turkey, including representatives of the Georgian diaspora, participated in the meeting.
