The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia has met with the Vice-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Munich Security Conference, Benedikt Franke.

The Minister thanked the Vice-Chairman of the conference for organizing the event at a high level. 

They underscored the longstanding and fruitful collaboration between the Munich Conference and the Government of Georgia, and explored prospects for further cooperation. The Minister Highlighted the significance of effectively presenting Georgia at the Munich Conference, a key international platform for addressing global political challenges. 

The discussion focused on the 2024 conference report.

The Georgian side noted that the report relies on data from politically biased individuals. Both sides agreed to collaborate closely in upcoming international conferences to disseminate  objective information about Georgia.

The executive director of the conference expressed interest in continued partnership with the Georgian government, including in organizing joint activities to help strengthen the positive image of Georgia.
