On 1 July 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, participated in an event marking the National Day of the Republic of Belarus.
In his welcoming remarks, the Deputy Minister emphasized the longstanding friendship and close ties between the Georgian and Belarusian peoples, noting that these relations are founded on mutual respect and provide the basis for the further development of bilateral cooperation.
Special attention was also drawn to the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The Deputy Minister also underscored the importance of further expanding cooperation in tourism, agriculture and other areas of mutual interest.
On the occasion of the National Day, Alexander Khvtisiashvili extended his best wishes to the people of Belarus for peace, prosperity and continued success.
