Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of the Republic of North Macedonia, Timčo Mucunski.
The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation, including the intensification of political dialogue. The parties highlighted the importance of sectoral cooperation, particularly the strengthening of trade and economic relations.
The ministers expressed their readiness to hold a new round of political consultations between their respective foreign ministries.
The discussion also covered Georgia’s European integration process, existing challenges, and possible strategies to address them.
Regional security issues were also discussed, along with the situation in Georgia’s occupied territories.
Furthermore, the parties reviewed opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the two countries within the framework of international organizations.
