In New York, on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Giorgos Gerapetritis.
The ministers discussed cooperation between the two countries and their historical ties, underlining the importance of strengthening political dialogue.
The meeting also addressed existing security challenges in the region, including in the context of European security, and highlighted the importance of enhanced cooperation.
The conversation further touched upon relations between Georgia and the European Union and the need for sustained dialogue within the process of European integration.
Minister Botchorishvili expressed her gratitude to her counterpart for Greece’s firm support of Georgia. Both sides reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen cooperation in the future.
