During her visit to Antalya, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), Lazar Comănescu.
The parties discussed opportunities and challenges related to cooperation within the BSEC framework, emphasizing the organization’s role in the Black Sea region.
The discussion highlighted prospects for enhanced economic cooperation within the Black Sea basin, as well as the current security environment in the region.
Particular attention was given to the role of Georgia as a vital transit corridor and to regional energy and transport infrastructure projects.
The conversation also touched upon the significance of regional cooperation in promoting European security and economic stability.
