An Event Held at the Anaklia Youth Camp for Young Georgians Living Abroad

On 12 August 2026, Irakli Zarkua, Chair of the Diaspora Committee of the Parliament of Georgia, Greta Tsitsava, Member of Parliament, Davit Kodua, Mayor of Zugdidi Municipality and Nodar Komakhidze, Head of the Consular and Diaspora Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, visited the Georgian youth living abroad who are participating in the Anaklia Youth Camp.

During the meeting, the participants focused on the importance of supporting young Georgians living abroad and strengthening their ties with Georgia. It was noted that such projects provide young Georgians living abroad with an opportunity to learn more about the history and culture of their country, establish connections with their peers and further strengthen their ties with their homeland.

This project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia and the Youth Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. It brings together young people aged 14-17 from Spain, Israel, Greece, Ireland and Latvia.

The meeting concluded with the presentation of commemorative gifts to the young participants, followed by a concert by singer Zuka Khutsishvili.
