On 19 September 2025, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the French Republic to Georgia, Olivier Courteaud.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed current issues in Georgian-French relations and discussed potential avenues for further cooperation.
They also exchanged views regarding Georgia’s integration into the European Union, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation and dialogue in this process.
Ambassador Courteaud reaffirmed France’s firm and unconditional support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs wished Ambassador Courteaud success in his future diplomatic endeavors.
