On 6 March 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, participated in the opening ceremony of the Georgia-Japan Business Forum.
In his address to the participants, Alexander Khvtisiashvili highlighted the productive cooperation between Georgia and Japan. He underscored the importance of the exchange of high-level visits, the deepening of people-to-people contacts and the further development of bilateral relations in the trade and economic spheres.
The Georgia-Japan Business Forum was held in Tbilisi and was organized by the Embassy of Japan in Georgia, the Georgia-Japan Business Association and the Istanbul Office of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO).
The event was attended by members of the Government of Georgia, as well as Georgian and Japanese business representatives and investors.
