Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili has met with the Chinese ambassador to Georgia 

On 10 May 2023, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Georgia, Zhou Qian. The meeting was held at the initiative of the Chinese ambassador.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current issues of bilateral relations, as well as opportunities for cooperation in multilateral formats. Talking points also included  on issues of regional importance and current events.

The sides reaffirmed mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each other’s countries within their internationally recognized borders. The importance of intensifying high-level visits between the two countries was also emphasized.
