The Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić

On 15 May 2026, within the framework of the 135th Session of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe held in Chisinau, the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the existing cooperation between Georgia and Serbia. Particular attention was devoted to the dynamics of economic and trade relations. The importance of exchanging high-level visits was also underscored.

The parties further discussed the current situation in the region and the challenges encountered on the path toward European integration.

The ministers once again reaffirmed their mutual respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and the Republic of Serbia.
