On 15 June 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Georgia, Amit Kumar Mishra.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues in bilateral relations. Particular attention was paid to economic cooperation, prospects for the growth of trade and transport and logistics sector.
It was noted that Indian businesses are showing increasing interest in Georgia’s investment opportunities. Discussions also focused on the resumption of direct flights between the two countries and the dynamics of tourist flows.
The issues covered during the meeting included cooperation within international organizations.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their cooperation in the future.
