​Teimuraz Janjalia held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova

On 31 January 2023, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Deputy Minister Teimuraz Janjalia held a meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Moldova, Ruslan Bolbochan.

The sides discussed the wide range of cooperation between Georgia and Moldova, welcomed the active dynamics of high-level visits and noted the importance of further deepening of the political dialogue.

During the meeting, Teimuraz Janjalia and Ruslan Bolbochan confirmed their strong mutual support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and Moldova. It was noted that the two countries have not only similar challenges, but also common aspirations in terms of European integration. In this regard, the deputy ministers exchanged information about the work done and the progress achieved. The special importance of close cooperation between the two countries was noted in this process.

Attention was paid to the prospects of deepening sectoral ties between Georgia and Moldova, including by putting special emphasis on the priority of strengthening trade and economic relations. The importance of active dialogue between the two countries to ensure maximum use of the potential of the transport corridor was also noted.
