The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, met with the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of the French Republic, Catherine Colonna, within the framework of the Munich Security Conference.
The ministers talked about Georgia’s European integration agenda, the latest report of the European Commission, and Georgia's progress on the implementation of the European Commission’s recommendations.
The ministers also discussed the agenda of bilateral cooperation and agreed to to hold the next meeting of the Dimitri Amilakhvari strategic dialogue between France and Georgia. Special note was taken of the security environment in the region, as well as the possibility of exchanging high-level visits.
The Georgian Foreign Minister expressed his gratitude for France’s support for Georgia and expressed the hope that the French government will continue to support Georgia at all international formats in the future.
