Georgian Foreign Minister has met with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA)

Within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Georgia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Maka Botchorishvili, held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Kairat Sarybay.

The discussion focused on the mission of the organization, which aims to deepen cooperation in the Asian region and promote peace, security and stability.

The parties reviewed ongoing projects implemented within the CICA framework, particularly in the area of confidence-building, encompassing cooperation in economic, environmental, humanitarian, emerging threats and challenges, and military-political dimensions.

Special attention was also paid to the formats and directions of CICA’s engagement with non-member states.
