George Zurabashvili Holds Introductory Meeting with Ambassador-designate of Switzerland Fabienne Wassermann

The First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Zurabashvili, held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador-designate of the Swiss Confederation, Fabienne Wassermann.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the fruitful cooperation between Georgia and Switzerland across various fields, as well as future plans.

The First Deputy Minister expressed his gratitude to the Swiss side for its support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and for Switzerland’s role as a mediator.

The sides highlighted their active cooperation within international organizations. The discussions also covered ongoing developments in the region, with particular emphasis placed on the importance of peace and security.

The First Deputy Minister wished the Ambassador every success in her future endeavours.
