Lasha Darsalia Meets with the UNICEF Representative in Georgia

On 1 October 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Darsalia held a meeting with Isabella Castrogiovanni, Representative of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Georgia.

The discussion focused on UNICEF’s activities in Georgia, its priority areas, and future plans.

The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of cooperation with UNICEF for the Georgian side across various areas.

The situation in the Abkhazia and Tskhinvali regions of Georgia, occupied by Russia, was also discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue cooperation in the future.
