Maka Botchorishvili has met with the Minister of State at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs

On 12 January 2026, on the margins of the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) Summit, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, met with the Minister of State at the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Saeed bin Mubarak Al Hajeri.

During the meeting, the ministers underscored the friendly and partnership-based relations between Georgia and the United Arab Emirates. The discussions also addressed cooperation in the field of investment, the further deepening of trade and economic ties between the two countries, and the strategic importance of the Middle Corridor.

The positive dynamics of high-level visits were noted, with particular emphasis placed on the visit to Georgia by the President of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The agenda further included discussions on the regional and global security environment and related challenges. The ministers emphasized the importance of joint efforts in addressing these issues.

The parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue and further intensify fruitful cooperation between the two countries.
