Georgian Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia Participates in the OSCE Annual Security Review Conference

On 17 June 2026, in Vienna, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Lasha Darsalia, participated in the Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, where he delivered remarks before the delegations of participating States.

Speaking during a special session: Security Situation in the OSCE, the Deputy Minister focused his attention on the growing strategic importance of the Black Sea region, as well as the humanitarian and security environment in Georgia’s occupied regions.

Lasha Darsalia reaffirmed Georgia’s commitment to the peaceful resolution of the conflict and underscored the importance of the engagement and support of the international community, including within the framework of the Geneva International Discussions.

The Deputy Minister spoke about regional and global security challenges, the impact of the ongoing war against Ukraine on the European security architecture and the international rules-based order, as well as the growing dynamics of hybrid threats.

In his concluding remarks, Lasha Darsalia underscored Georgia’s role in promoting regional cooperation, stability and connectivity, and highlighted the country's active engagement in the activities of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
