On 30 July 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Alexander Khvtisiashvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador of the Republic of India to Georgia, Amit Kumar Mishra.
The parties reviewed the friendly relations between Georgia and the Republic of India and underscored the positive and steadily growing momentum of bilateral cooperation. The discussion focused on the exchange of high-level visits between the two countries, as well as avenues for strengthening cooperation in the fields of trade and economy, transport and logistics, tourism, education and other areas of mutual interest.
The parties expressed their readiness to maintain active communication in order to promote the further reinforcement of bilateral relations.
