The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lasha Darsalia, held a farewell meeting with Natalia Voutova, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Georgia.
The discussion focused on issues of cooperation between Georgia and the Council of Europe. Particular emphasis was placed on the Council of Europe’s role in supporting Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. The importance of the Council of Europe Secretary General’s consolidated reports on “Conflict in Georgia,” as well as the corresponding annual decision of the Committee of Ministers, was underscored. The parties also noted progress in the implementation of projects under the 2024-2027 Action Plan of the Council of Europe for Georgia.
Lasha Darsalia expressed gratitude to Natalia Voutova for her close cooperation and for contributing to the strengthening of relations with the Council of Europe and wished her success in her future endeavours.
